On the palate of Elijah Craig Bourbon, the rye hits every corner of the mouth with light oils and myriad oaky, complex notes to the roof. Elijah Craig Bourbon is firm, malty, and sweet with some malty fruitiness. The finish of Elijah Craig Bourbon is a slow build up of slightly molassed sweetness and vanilla which leaves a lingering, smoky, phenolic finale. Elijah Craig Bourbon, along with Evan Williams 12, is the finest whisky from the house of Heaven Hill, very drinkable, a very appertising bourbon.
