McGregor bier 25cl

McGregor bier is made with malt usually reserved for whisky, hence the name. McGregor is copper in colour, with a bubbly, thin head. The aroma is overpoweringly toffee, although burnt malt and sugar and a touch of whisky are also present. On the tongue, the story isn't too different; it is slightly fizzy, with honeycomb and a burnt caramel or alcohol bite, the finish and aftertaste follow suit. While this is an interesting beer, it is very one sided, no bad thing.
