La Chouffe Blonde pours a rich honey colour with a thick, off-white head. It has plentiful bubbles somewhat akin to sparkling wine. Aroma of sweet alcohol and hay fields with grainy malt and large cinnamon presence tickling the nose. La Chouffe Blonde is well bodied with heavy notes of fruit, sugar, banana, black pepper, and coriander the predominant flavor. Backdropped notes of fresh herbs and tiny floral notes finish things up. The herbal part really reminds me of cilantro, which seems logical with the addition of its seeded parts into the brew itself; coriander. The finish on the tongue has a dry tingle that ends with a sugary sweetness. La Chouffe Blonde a contemplative selection. Perhaps a raisin dressing stuffed bird would find its perfect match with this seductive gnome.
