Gonzalez Byass Caballero Amontillado 75cl

Caballero Amontillado is a medium-dry sherry, it has a bright ochre/gold colour. Appealing nose (not unlike Pineau de Charentes) of fruits and nuts, with hints of burnt caramel aromas. It is off-dry with more nutty flavours and some sweeter, caramelised orange notes. Sweetish attractive dry grape flavours, full and creamy combined with nuts and dried fruits with lots of alcohol and a bone dry but spicy finish, but an added fresh and appealing whistle clean sweetness. Light, fresh and attractive - drink it slightly chilled.
