Kasteel Bruin is from Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck In Ingelmunster. This is a double top-fermented Belgian beer, Kasteel Bruin is a strong ale that benefits from ageing. Kasteel Bruin pours with a small light brown head and dark brown body. It is smooth silky and thick. Kasteel Bruin has a nice malty, sweet, rich flavour; hints of caramel, chocolate, spices like nutmeg and even black pepper mingled together. Despite being 11%, there was practically no alcohol kick. When aged for some years it gets "rounder" and absolutely delicious with sweet, winey, rum, raisins. full and smooth. very complex... Great.
