Jefferson's Extra Fine Dark Rum is an impressive marriage of two classic rum styles aged in oak casks to impart a complex balance of flavours. Jefferson's Rum has a huge pot-still influence and is immediately apparent. Aroma's of Sweet almost creamy coconut mixed with resinous, deep notes of liquorice, treacle and clove. On the palate, High-cocao-solid chocolate with a fine balance of deep toffee, liquorice and vanilla with a subtle hint of honeycomb and ripe fruit. Water brings out a gentle nature. The finish is long and warming. Jeffersons Rum is old fashioned yet strangely modern, given our rediscovery of great old rums. In character, Jefferson's is a rich, beautifully textured dark rum
