Gordons Sloe Gin 70cl

Gordons Sloe Gin is a traditional sweet and fruity treat created by macerating sloe berries in gin. Upon taste there is a tinge of the flavour of dry gin but with a subtly fruity flavour of berries. It is sweeter than ordinary gin and leaves a substantial but pleasant fruity after taste in the mouth. It is also quite dry to the taste, possibly a little more so than regular gin Method of Production : Wild sloe berries are steeped in glass-lined vessels before adding Gordon's Gin. Over a period of several weeks, the distinctive colour and flavour of the sloes gradually mixes with that of the gin. Sloes are the fruit of the wild blackthorn grown naturally in the countryside.
