Bush Amber 25cl

Bush Amber the strongest Belgian Beer at a mighty 12%, Pours amber with a slight red tinge. The head was thin and light but lasted all the way through. Bush is strong and moderately complex with very light citrus and spice undertones, with fruity malt aromas. The full palate is also sweetish and apricot-like at first but broadens into creamy maltiness, with a burst of estery pears and several distinct stages of bitterness. The alcohol level is well disguised at this point but there's no hiding it in the mouth or on the hoppy finish. In fact, the finish is more like an afterburn in the gullet. Still malty, but fiery too, reminiscent of a not too smooth whisky. Something a bit syrupy lingers in the mouth. A real monster, reminiscent of a Duvel in colour, but for its strength it is still quite drinkable.
