Made in the Cognac region by Gabriel & Andreu, Citadelle gin is triple-distilled in small batches in traditional copper alembic stills. It is formulated based on a centuries old recipe that combines nineteen botanicals with spring water from the famed Angeac Champagne Springs in Cognac. Citadelle French Gin is a highly aromatic spirit with a genuinely distinctive taste. Its light, fresh bouquet is laced with juniper, spice and citrus. The gin has a full, sultry body—unusual for such a delicate spirit—and a crisp, clean palate graced with lavish spicy herbal flavours. As one would hope in a gin of this stature, the vibrant, pine flavour of alpine junipers is most predominant.
