Thatchers Coxes is rather similar to the Spartan single varietal from Thatchers but with less alcohol. Very pale lemon colour. Essentially no carbonation and a familar dry white wine aftertaste. Near colourless with a rather subdued nose, Peachy, perfumed aroma, subtle alcohol, profound apples. Thatchers Coxes was quite sweet very appley, experienced well on the back of the tongue.Refreshing, soft and sweet, as ciders made from dessert apples often is. Although there is just a slight acidic edge which sharpens up the taste.
