York Minster Ale 50cl

York Minster Premium Bitter has an aroma that is malty, with barley and cereal contributing to an altogether 'bready' nose. In the mouth it is bitter, with a pleasant hop signature, and is reasonably dry, with some roast malt. The roast malt gives it more body and substance and contributes to it being a more interesting pint overall. There are dried or candied bananas present, and a slightly moreish aftertaste. York Minster Premium Bitter is light-medium bodied for its rich flavour, this is a very quaffable ale, benefiting from the very full hoppyness which lends a solid balance against the equally heavily malty overtone. A pleasant enough brew.
