Wooden Hand Cornish Buccaneer Beer 50cl

Wooden Hand Cornish Buccaneer Beer pours a warm golden colour, with a persistant off-white head with loads of lace. Nose is honey malt with a hint of peach, definate hops also in the aroma. Taste is a bit sweetish but with a biscuit nutty edge, from the marris otter malt. Some toastiness to the malt in the mouth, but the flavour is quite full and rounded - hop bitterness counteracted by gently fruity malt. Carbonation level is pleasantly low, making it smooth on the palate. Cornish Buccaneer Beer has good hop balance and a long dry finish, bitter and citrus, leading into a shortish aftertaste of bitter hops and light malt.
