St Peter's Honey Porter 50cl

St Peters honey Porter has a very dark, blood-red colour, with a very small head. An interesting aroma with dark fruits with a fairly strong cherry presence combined with sweet honey. St Peters honey Porter has a malty dryness that hits you at first, followed by traces of liquorice and a gentle background of honey. The flavours roll around your mouth, and finally some bitterness come through. The middle is the only place you notice the carbonation and it is minimal, the finish is burnt malt that has no bitterness to it and a little bit of hops.this is a real great tasting beer with surprising little honey taste to it (thank god as honey can be cloying). The style, in its dryness, is much more like a stout than a porter, a very drinkable porter.
