RCH Old Slug Porter 50cl

RCH Brewery Old Slug Porter is a dark bottle-conditioned ale. It pours with a loose, bubbly head, the nose is complex, consisting chiefly of fruit, but with rich chocolaty, nutty roast malt overtones. On the palate it is again very fruity, with blackberries, plums and lighter fruits. Old Slug Porter also has a substantial amount of hop bitterness. Heavily roast malt is also abundant, with chocolate, nut and even coffee flavours present. Despite this complexity, the beer is remarkably light and drinkable, without any cloying characteristics. Finish is malty, with a long, bitter, roasty aftertaste. This is a deliciously complex porter.
