Moorhouse Pendle Witches Brew Beer 50cl

Pendle Witches Brew is a light golden ale from Moorhouse's Brewery, pours with a bubbly, thinnish head. On the nose it is malty and faintly smoky, with a touch of hop. Pendle Witches Brew is quite bitter in the attack, with a well-rounded roast malt flavour developing. It is very dry, although hop character is quite subdued. The mouthfeel is very smooth, with no rough alcohol edges or sharpness, and a little sweetness. Towards the finish a touch of caramel becomes evident, which fades into a malty, caramelly aftertaste. Pendle Witches Brew is very soft, smooth and rounded. Not especially complex, but very drinkable.
