AWARD-winning Hambleton Ales brewery has just brewed GFL, Gluten Free Lager its first ever lager, and it has been specially developed for those following a gluten and wheat-free regime. Proprietor Nick Stafford was hugely encouraged by the great response to GFA, the first British-brewed gluten and wheat-free ale which quickly became the brewery's best-selling bottled beer. GFL is described as having initial fullness and fruit character, finishing with bitterness and citrus notes.
