Hambleton Thoroughbred Beer is an attractive copper beer, with a good head and moderate condition. On the nose it is malty and fruity, suggesting a sweet ale - there is possibly some spice and orange. The full bodied taste is fairly sweet and malty with some butterscotch and caramel tones. Smooth, bitter, strongly fruity and a touch warming. The citrus fruit flavours of the hops add to a fine balance between the two. Thoroughbred Beer has lots of hop flavour balanced with more malt and a dry, long hop bitter finish
