Hambleton Black Lightning Beer 50cl

Hambleton Black Lightning Beer pours a deep, dark brown colour and with a decent tan head with little orange layers. Toasted malt nose and sweet black coffee and creamy maltiness with chocolate undertones. Black Lightning has a Chocolate and marcipane taste, roasted and peppery but short and pricky. Very rich, liqourice/chocolate/malty flavours, Some roast character, too. warming alcohol finish with a nice tight gritty bitter end, its a porter rather than a stout but it falls somewhere in the gap between the two. A very decent pint
