Goose Eye Wonkey Donkey Bitter 50cl

Goose Eye Wonkey Donkey Bitter is a beer that pours with a nice amber hue, there were a few bubbles that lent to a good mouthfeel. The beer has a medium body that compliments the malty and slightly spicy and hoppy aroma, with hints of rose, must, coriander, banana and even some elderflower. The hops also add a citrus quality. In the mouth it is sweeter than expected, with a firm malt character adding to the fray. Wonkey Donkey Bitter is soft and gentle with the malts and some chocolate dominating the restrained herbal hops. There is some sweeter spice character towards the finish, which returns to the bitter, hoppy theme. A very pleasant, well balanced beer.
