Hett Kapital Abt 33cl

Het Kapital Abt pours with a remarkably fizzy golden orange body and a frothy ivory sea foam head. The nose is a Christmas fruit basket full of treats. Bananas, plums, peaches, apple, and apricot are among the crop. A spicy presence of clove and nutmeg along with honey and orange zest can be found in the flavour which is rich, malty and a spicy character. Het Kapital Abt has a nice creamy mouthfeel giving slight bitterness and slight sweetness. The finish has a yeasty tartness that makes itself known. The dense head never recedes, always present, leaving huge lacing. Very much a tripel and a nice one at that.
