Craft Brewers Old Shag 50cl

Old Shag is a hoppy beer, with light malt and just a touch of red fruit. In the mouth the initial hit is sharp and hoppy, but with melons and light caramel malt, this quickly regains balance. The hops creep up the back to the roof of the mouth; leaving a faintly citrus feeling all round. The hop signature has obviously been carefully crafted; the brew is late hopped but isn't so overtly bitter. Red fruit returns briefly in the finish, followed by a long, bitter and malt aftertaste. A very hoppy, nicely bitter beer, with a well balanced malt undertone.
