Breconshire Ramblers Ruin Ale 50cl

Ramblers Ruin Ale from the Breconshire Brewery pours a mid-brown colour with a bubbly, reasonably lasting head. The nose is malty, with hints of biscuit, molasses or treacle, and a dark fruitiness. On the palate it is initially malty, with more dark fruit notes - plums, raisins and figs. Some hop bitterness soon comes through, clinging to the sides of the tongue and adding a certain zestiness to the flavour. Ramblers Ruin Ale has a Biscuity note with treacle toffee and even a coffee-ish bitterness. The condition is pleasantly low, like a cask pint, making it very smooth and drinkable. Finish is of dark, fruity malt, with the hop bitterness intensifying into the aftertaste. An excellent premium ale
