Black Sheep Emmerdale 50cl

It pours with a big head, a sweet nose, and some dark fruit. The brew has brown sugar added, which, according to the head brewer 'adds something extra to the flavour'. In the mouth the sugar is apparent, making for a lively mouthfeel and a toasted honeycomb flavour. It is hoppy as well (goldings), balancing out the sweetness and drying the beer out a little. The aftertaste is sweet and honeycomby again, overall another top quality, full-flavoured offering from the black sheep of the Theakston family.
