Hue beer from Vietnam pours a clear, yellow colour with good carbonation and white foam that settled but left some lace. Smells of jungles, land mines, and rice paddies, sorry no, but the nose was a slightly sweet, malty aroma with hints of grain and floral hops. Hue Beer is malty slightly sweet with a touch of grain and a very nice floral flavour. The hop bitterness is very low, though there was a touch in the finish. overall the flavour was dominated by the flowery taste. The mouthfeel was smooth and fairly clean with medium body and moderate carbonation feel. This is a decent lager and pairs very well with spicy Southeast Asian food.
