Baltika No.3 is one of the most popular Russian beers. Light straw colour, small white head that had a decent hangtime then faded to a small lace. Sparkling golden body. Baltika No.3 has a sweet malt and lemony aroma with a slight amount of hops thrown in. Lightly sweet taste with a light malt and hop balance combined with a nice lemony side, firm, medium-bodied, robust dry malty finish - a well-balanced and well-made brew (did they changed their recipe recently ?).Clean, fresh feel. Decent balancing between malt and substantial hops. The finish snaps off clean, leaving just a whisp of honey sweetness in the aftertaste. Light bodied, with a crisp, dry mouthfeel. Very smooth. The carbonation is really impressive. Soft and airy, yet bouyant. Overrall a nice light fairly hoppy lager. Prye krasno!!!
