Breconshire Golden Valley Beer is a bottle-conditioned ale it comes from a microbrewery in the attractive Welsh town of Brecon. It pours with a hazy yellow body with a thin, short-lived head, a hard pour equates a small whisp of head but the carbonation seems to be very low, almost cask like. a little lacing. A nice English hop aroma, On the palate it is very smooth, largely due to the low condition, making it similar in mouthfeel to a cask ale. The hops impart a balancing bitterness, but without asserting their character aggressively. Some slight lemony zest on the finish along with some lasting dry yeast character.
