Cropton's Old Goat Strong Ale Bottle conditioned. Pours orangey amber with large off- white fluffy head and medium carbonation, Sugary aroma with a hint of apricot, some alcohol and malt on the nose. Taste is malty and fruity with a bitterness at the back of the mouth. Cropton's Old Goat has some subtle spicy characters as well as some plummy fruit flavours and orange rind. The bitterness becomes more pronounced as you get further down this beer, there is also some citrus with hints of pineapple. Its fairly alcoholic with a lovely malt and hops combo finish, followed by a rather wonderful lemon lime after taste.
