Richmond Brewing Company Limited is a new venture, set up by two experienced head brewers. Situated in The old Train Station, the company will provide first class ales in bottle and cask to other businesses in The Station complex, in Richmond, and in the Yorkshire area. Notes: It pours a light golden colour, with a white, fine-bubbled, lasting head. The nose is very hoppy indeed, with a floral, grapefruity hint to it. In the mouth these hops are again at the forefront as a fruity bitterness. Fruit flavours are of bitter grapefruit and orange marmalade. The beer is quite light-bodied, so the hops are the dominant characteristic. It finishes bitter and fruity, with a lingering hoppy, bitter aftertaste. This is a clean and refreshing beer.
