St Peter's Cream Stout 50cl
St Peter's Cream Stout pours a darkest brown with a decent-sized mocha head that leaves spotty lacing. It has a heavenly nose of oven-fresh chocolate fudge brownies, cappuccino, and hazelnut. Fleeting flavour is initially coffee and caramel, then immediately bittersweet roasted barley/espresso. St Peter's Cream Stout is minimally carbonated, with a creamy palate, almost frothy-feeling at times, slicky smokey and full-bodied. Pleasant but mild bitter aftertaste of tannic burnt grain and faint hop. An excellent stout, certainly one of the best.
