Sheep Dip Scotch Whisky was originally distilled in Scotland for the village of Oldbury in Gloucestershire, the peculiar name has generated a cult following. The name is apparently a nickname that farmers gave to whisky and which has been adopted by the distillery to brand its product. It tastes better than it sounds as though it should….Distilled by a pot still in the highlands, this 8 year old malt is made to the highest quality and excellence. A mixture of malt whiskies from more than one distillery make up the blend. Simple aroma with a pale colour with moderate body and a linen nap; somewhat diffuse with smacks of grains and fruit; grassy, with slants of meadows and hay.
