...Black Sheep Beer has a very hoppy aroma and flavour. A lively beer but surprisingly light on the palate, there is noticeable fruity malt and caramel in the middle, with perhaps a little burnt oak in the mouth. However, most of the flavour seems to come from its bitterness and hop character, a long bitter finish.
....Black Sheep Riggwelter Ale is extremely nutty, with the taste of hazel and walnut easily discernible over the chocolaty malt, which otherwise coats the palate with a silky, though lively, smoothness. Hops are present, but swamped by the malt flavours - this is in essence a malty beer much like a sprightly porter.
....Yorkshire Square Ale has a mild maltiness, a delicate zesty-bitter edge of citrus peels accompanies the superbly lingering dry and herbal bitterness that leads fast towards a lightly savoury-sweet aftertaste of pale malts.
....Monty Pythons Holy Ale has a well balanced hops and malt, with a slight fruity taste and a lasting sweetness, (oranges and some toffee), The flavour brings out more of the lemon and herb hops in the aftertaste and more mellow malts up front, it has sufficient malts and a pleasant hoppiness that lasts through the long aftertaste.
