Timmermans Lambic Witbier 33cl

Timmerman's Tradition Lambicus Blanche (also called Blanche-Lambic) is believed to be a cross between a wheat beer and either a Gueuze, or more likely given its strength and nature, a young lambic. Timmermans witbier pours a pale yellow with a hazy straw hue, and a small bubbly head. It is fresh and funky, it just has to be from the lambic element. Yet it is mixed with a refreshing acidic citric zesty twang from the Wheat beer. Spicy also. Starts like a thirst quenching spicy wheat beer with some lemon hints, sharp and tart it finishes with an acidic, dry lambic ending. Hints of mustiness at times, mainly in the back-end. This feels so great in the mouth, oozles of lively body. Yet it remains light on the tongue, it almost dances in the mouth as the tonnes of fine carbon dioxide bubbles break out of solution. It certainly benefits from the strengths of both styles & is an extremely accomplished offering, highly refreshing, and very quaffable indeed.
