Bailie Nicol Jarvie is a 6 yr old Whisky that is often described as a malt drinkers blend. Colour Deep rich mahogany with shimmering highlights. Nose Sweet and well-balanced, notes of vanilla, pears and possibly violets, some nuts and fresh hay. Taste A full flavour, well balanced with a good body and a very slight trace of smoke. Every bit as mouth-watering on the palate as the nose suggests, with some lemon tartness countering the rich maltiness and almost chewable grain. Perhaps the finest and most supremely constructed of all Scotland's lightweight whiskies. Finish Warm, balanced, with a whiff of smoke. Very long for such a fragile blend, with an astonishing depth of simple malt and toffee.
