Amrut Indian Single Malt Whisky is a product of 20 years research to produce Whiskies matching world standards. This Whisky is made from select Indian Barley grown up the feet of Himalayan matured by the water flowing there and cultivated by old & traditional agricultural practices. Nose: Fragrant, fruity and floral. Medlar, raisins, stewed rhubarb. A hint of rose syrup. Opens up on bakery notes (ginger biscuits, apple and vanilla flan) and lingers on heady vanilla notes. Palate: Smooth and soft. Decent balance. Juicy soft fruits, toasty oak, malt flour. The palate has a kick to it adding interest. Good. Finish: Dry, short, refreshing. Comment: Well made. A good session drink.
