Ledaig Malt Whisky 1990 bottled 2006. The distillery was in the past known as ledaig, changing its name to Tobermory Distillary in the 1970's. In 1990 the distillery resumed its activities under the name Tobermory. The distillery produces 2 different single malts. The first one, non peaty called Tobermory and the other one, called Ledaig which is extremely peaty. Golden in colour this vintage has sweet, floral and fruity notes with a touch of peatiness on the nose. The palate is rather pleasant, with the same mixes of fruit and peat, a touch of alcohol and a bit of smoke turning ash-like, still some sweetness with oaky notes. This whisky is assertive with a peaty influence.
